Pages deleted leave a blank space on my homepage. New pages are not published.

  Hi, I deleted some pages and was trying to write others but the new pages simply don’t appear on my blog when I open it – I just see them on the dashboard. Also, when deleting the pages the blog created a “duplicated line” and a blank space between the links to the remaining page, instead of simply ignoring that on that space was destinated to an existing page. It looks strange and I don’t know how to fix it. Almost leaving wordpress.com and going to blogspot :(

  Oi!

  I think you’re using a ‘static page’ as your homepage. On your blog Dashboard, go to Settings > Reading, and make sure you select ‘ Your latest posts’ instead of ‘a static page’ for the Front page displays option.
