Pages displaying without stylesheet

  sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.
  sometimes the control panel works but more often it doesn’t

  the page loads, but it’s without any formatting or colors, only pictures and left aligned text

  is this common or what? it’s getting hard to use, I tolerated it for a while thinking maybe their

  It’s probably because the front page is so long. If you reduce the number of posts that display on the front page (Settings->Reading) to fewer than ten, not only will your blog load much faster, but your readership will go up.

  doesn’t explain why the control panel also suffers from the same issue

  (1) What is your operating system?
  (2) Which browser and version of it are you using?
  (3) Have your tried these troubleshooting ideas http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ when your experience problems?
  (4) Has the security program on your computer been updated recently?
  (5) Are you on dial-up service?
