Pages dont take Trackback?!!!

  Too many blogs linked to one of my page. Yet the trackback of links doesnt show in page comments. What’s wrong with that? Pages dont take Trackback by links from other blogs?!!!

  Traceback has never worked for my blog. I posted about this a few weeks ago and others reported the same thing (no tracebacks). I haven’t seen anything from the staff stating there’s a problem, but I’ve never seen a traceback on my blog.

  When I leave a traceback to other’s blogs (either WP hosted and non-WP hosted) from my blog, that works. I just don’t receive any

  Staff have stated there is a problem, and they’ve requested that you let them know which of your posts were linked, and from where. But trackbacks have always been iffy in my experience. I’ve seen it happen instantly, and I’ve seen a delay of six months. Technorati will show you the links to your blog if you’ve claimed it there, regardless of whether the trackbacks show up or not.

  It seems post-sensitive, not blog or theme sensitive, for what that’s worth. Some posts show all trackbacks immediately, some never show them.

  http://wishsubmission.wordpress.com/

  http://www.ijtema.net/

  and i by own, linked to the page from 2 other posts:
  http://shahrzaad.wordpress.com/2007/09/28/today-is-friday-11/
  http://shahrzaad.wordpress.com/2007/09/26/we-could-hold-it-fast/

  they will link this page from here and there.. But no trackback from linkes till now :(
