Pages for my food blog

  How do I create a recipe index for my food blog? I made a Page titled “Recipes” with categories underneath but when I click on the word “Recipes” nothing shows up. So how would I make it so the list of categories shows up when I click Recipes (like links I think)?

  Don’t make static pages. You need category pages, which you don’t create yourself, and a custom menu http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/
