Pages from an old site are showing up in a new site I am making on a new account, different host, same email address

    I’m having a ton of weird issues.

    Old pages from a wordpress site I had ti 2019 just populated my new workdpress site which I old got a few weeks ago.

    And earlier today I could not get Gravatar to integrate with WP without issues. when i go to my blog post and scroll down to the author bio area, the profile i made in gravatar is not showing. But the image is populating in the dashboard profile. Also my .com WP’s username is karlastinger (which is what I want) but in another area it presents as username from my .org WP account. So there seems to be something failing here. This is ongoing still.

    It seems like material from an old sight is migrating into my new site. Possibly because I may have used the same email address to start both sites?

    It seems you have 2 wordpress.com accounts: karlastinger you created in 2019, and stingerkarla you created in 2020.
    If you want to connect your site to karlastinger, you must log out from current stingercarla and log in again as karlastinger. Next you must reconnect your site to your karlastinger account.
    Content from one site just can’t migrate miraculously to another site.
