Pages have disappeared from front page

Why one should not edit pages when not supplied with adequate caffeine.
    MY MISTAKES:
I edited the original page of this blog “About Lakeview Library’s Blog” to turn it into two pages–one giving the location, phone and URL of the librarry (now entitled “”About Lakeview Library” and the secone retained the original but without the location info that used to be at the end of the page.

I also turned the “About Lakeview Library” into a parent page, with the two other pages as child pages.

    PROBLEMS
    1. The two pages “About Lakeview Library’s Blog” and “letter-from-a-library-patron-who-loves-lakeview/” used to appear in the header of the front page. Now they’re gone,
    2. the About Lakeview Library doesn’t appear in the sidebar (there used to be a nifty header on the right, with the original page, in it’s full glory, with the two sidebars beneath it) This is the format I’m really striving for–the posts on the left and the About Lakeview , with a slick heading, on the right, followed by the sidebars.

I’ve tried restoring, reverting and editing the HTML to no avail.

REQUEST FOR HELP: How do I get a box with my nifty formatted page back on the right side of my front page, with the posts still appearing on the left??

    thankz
