My website is completely unusable right now. Many pages I have in the Primary Menu are not visible. I can’t change the order of the pages in my menu, and I can’t delete or add items to my menu. The site is no longer under my control. What happened and what can I do? Please help.

This is a technical issue with the site. How do I get in touch with a wordpress technician to take a look at it?

Hi, have you recently changed theme? The menu shown in your screenshot is a “navigation block” menu, which is managed from Appearance > Editor (beta) (the site Editor), rather than Appearance > Customize > Menus.
We have some information about the Site Editor and Navigation Block here:
- https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-editing/theme-blocks/navigation-block/
Are you seeing any particular error when you try to create or edit a page under Pages > All Pages – if so, could you let us know what you’re seeing?
Normally once you create/publish a page, it won’t automatically be added to the menu in the Navigation block and you’d need to add it manually – are you seeing any errors when trying to manage the menu in the Site Editor?

I have had this website for months. I have not changed my theme since it was created. Until last evening I was changing my Primary Menu by going to Appearance, Customize, Menus. I did not change it to a navigation block menu ( I’m not sure what that is). I tried creating a new page and when I hit publish it would not publish. All these changes happened last night. Until then, everything was fine.

Could you let us know what operating system and browser (and versions of each) you’re using? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I see what you mean. @staff-95percentghost is correct in their assessment of what is going on. This site has both the option to add menu items via the customizer and via the new Full Site Editor. As they mentioned, you’ll need to manually add the menu items via the Site Editor, as they are not showing despite being added via the customizer.
Please try to add the missing menu items that are missing using the instructions from our support documentation, and let me know if this works for you.

Thank you! -
I am finally able to fix my website using the Editor, rather than the Customizer, as I’m used to. It was strange that I have been accessing and building this site for months, and then was suddenly unable to use the Customizer. I found the following you tube video helpful.
Thank you. Joanne
