I created three menu items (about us, christy, and sarah). I cannot figure out how to post pages under those menu options. for example when they click about us, I want an about us page, etc.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I created three menu items (about us, christy, and sarah). I cannot figure out how to post pages under those menu options.
Sub-menu items can only be added to a custom menu. See the Custom Menus support page, and particularly its Additional menu items and Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus sections of the Custom Menus support page for appropriate instructions.
for example when they click about us, I want an about us page, etc.
Volunteers such as myself can not view the site https://sdehart14.wordpress.com/ because it’s marked private. So, I’m uncertain as to whether your menu items link to static pages or to category pages. This is an important distinction, because you can not post directly to a static page (unless it has something dynamic such as display posts shortcode inserted in it), but posts assigned to a specific category will be automatically added to the corresponding category page.

Looks like you’ve added three specific blog posts to your menu instead of pages.
Try creating pages first:
Then add those pages to your custom menu.
Let me know how it goes.

Actually on second look just Christy is a blog post. The others refer to pages in the trash, so they are giving a “page not found” error.
Right now, you have only one published page, called Sarah:
https://sdehart14.wordpress.com/sarah/
The rest are in the trash.
I’d suggest you start over by creating your pages, and then fixing up your custom menu to remove the trashed pages and the blog post, and add your new, published pages instead.
Let me know if you get stuck at any point.

I said that, but it’s not quite true. I’d momentarily forgotten that on many themes the classic menu (aka the default pages menu) will display links to child pages in a drop-down menu below the link to the parent page. See the Parent Page section of the Page Options support page for instructions on creating page hierarchies based upon parent-child relationships between pages.
On the other hand, @sdehart14, I see now that I may have misinterpreted the part of your original post where you said,
I cannot figure out how to post pages under those menu options.
and that you may not have been referring to child pages or sub-menu items at all.
