Pages in the header of Fruit Shake
-
Hi. I love the new fruit shake theme, but I am used to having my pages (for example “About”) available across the top of the header. I have them over on the side in a widget, but it’s much cleaner to have them in the header. It makes for easier navigation.
Is this possible to do in fruit shake? Am I missing something? I’d hate to have to change themes again after getting settled on this one.
Thanks!

Yes it’s possible to do. Create a custom menu. These are the how-to instructions:

The theme Fruit Shake does not support header tabs, I’m afraid. You can create a custom menu indeed by following timethief’s instructions, but it will go on your sidebar via the Custom Menu widget.
Here’s a list of themes including/not including header tabs support.

Well I’ll be damned….
There ARE header tabs in Fruit Shake! However, unlike other themes, you have to have a custom menu to use them…
Go to Themes > Menus and behold! Under “Theme Locations”, it says “Your theme supports 1 menu. Select which menu you would like to use.”
I’m writing to Panos to let him know.

I just played around with Fruit Shake a little today, and when I saw that, I blinked. Several times. It was an unexpected place to find it — I hadn’t even been looking for it, but if I had, I doubt I would have found it!
It’s a nice clean-looking theme. The fonts are nice, too.
