  I would like to start a designated page on my blog to have specific blogs posts. How can I add new content to that page and not on my main blog page?

  There are two main ways in which this can be done.

  You can also look to use a blog post block as seen here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/
