“pages” inside posts or “subposts” possible?

I recently received a rather lengthy comment for a post (http://greekchesspolitics.wordpress.com/2009/02/11/greekteams-2/) in my blog and I decided to transfer it to a dedicated post with links so that the thread of the comments will not be practically unreadable. However, the comment was a large post in itself, so I had to brake it down into three chapters and make all necessary introductory comments and connections to assist the readers (posts http://greekchesspolitics.wordpress.com/2009/02/12/tmsevidalis01/ …02/ and …03/). Then, in order that these three posts do not completely clutter my previous posts onscreen, I “shortened” each of them using the “more” device.
The result is functional but rather awkward and not satisfying. Somehow I feel I’m “cheating” (my readers, my feeds, my hits). Searching the forums, I noticed in a “Sandbag” competition the device of “pages” inside a post, which I think would well cover the needs of the case. Put otherwise, I need something like “subposts” – a common header and the possibility to change partially the contents of a post or maybe something like the more device in the comments…
Is this possible to do with my theme (Andreas04) or is there any other useful suggestion on this matter?

With this you could have one post that has 3 pages (or more) with a few keystrokes. -

Thanks 1tess and thanks panaghiotisadam. Both links are very useful -if I just had looked at “splitting” a post!
Up to now I naively used the next feature just to split an article into an introduction and a main body. I’ll go now and experiment! -

Just a note: If you get now the urge to play with something similar, please observe that the “top” anchor works only in the first page (you have to set “anchors” yourself for the top of the other pages). Have a careful look and you’ll see that your second and next pages have other web addresses, so you have to prepare your links accordingly. (Play a little with the links if you like, try hovering with the mouse over them to see at the bottom of your browser the addresses appearing, and while the text will be Greek to you, it’s functionallity will be, I hope, obvious).
