Pages keep appearing

In my wordpress account i have about 15 pages that make up my website, sometimes when i come back to the list to go a different page i see that many new pages have appeared, last time there was about 30 pages that i didn’t put there. I cant find a reason for it, has anyone got any ideas?

Are you perhaps seeing your posts list instead of your page list? What’s the site you’re seeing this with?

Theres no indication of the pages online, just on the list. I have opened up a few of the pages and the permalink says the name of the website /sample-page-3 or 4 etc..
I deleted about 10 pages earlier and different ones have appeared. -
If they’re not online, maybe they’re draft pages?
Are you seeing them if you sign in to your site with a different browser?

It doesn’t say they are drafts, i have been turning off one plugin at a time and the last one i turned off looks like its stopped it, i will keep checking, the plugin was called ‘Category Tag Pages’. Hope so, i was getting about 30 pages a day.

Oh, if you’re using plugins you’re probably using the self-hosted WordPress.ORG version. This is the support forum for the Automattic-hosted WordPress.COM version. You can probably find help with that specific plugin on the WordPress.ORG website: https://wordpress.org/support/

Iv only been using wordpress for less than a year and wow! what a difference to serif, i am dyslexic and the potential is massive for me but its mind blowing what you can do, i have so much to learn.
