Pages – Maximum amount of posting.

Hi Guys,
Your help yet again, please. I have a ‘Page’ on my blog – http://dickiebo.wordpress.com/chortles/ – which I frequently add to. It’s getting rather long now and I’m wondering whether there is only so much that I can put on a ‘single’ Page, and whether I should now be looking to ‘add’ another Page as a separate entity. Can you advise, please? Many thanks. -
There really isn’t a limit. What you might think about doing is using the “next page” tag so that it will automatically break the page into two pages. Think of it as a “more tag” for pages. Since there isn’t a icon for it on the tool bar in the editor, you will have to add it in the html tab.

..and if your page gets reaaallly long with photos, it may take a long time to load for readers. There is, apart from that, no actual limit.

thesacredpath; Sorry, mate, I’m really thick, I know. I just went into the page, Edit, typed in <!–nextpage–> and nothing happened! Am I, perhaps, not in what you call HTML Editor? Sorry to be such a drag!

At the top of the editor window there is a couple tabs to the right, visual and html. Click on the html tab and then place the code where you want it in the page. My suggestion is to put it on its own line between paragraphs.

thesacredpath; Just to say a big ‘Thank You’ for your help again. Your advice has again proved most useful and I would like you ‘Volunteers’ to know just how much you are appreciated. Once again – Thanks very much.

Sweet. My hand in this was non-exsistent, but it warms my heart when someone says thank you. It makes helping out a little nicer. Hope it will be contagious.
