Pages need approval? and How to upload files

  I’m new to blogging; I’ve been fiddling around and trying to figure things out. I just created a couple of pages on my first blog, but can’t find them anywhere in the blog layout.

  I want to upload several text files (ebooks), and thought I had successfully uploaded one, but when I went to the Books page I had created (which is only visible from my dashboard–why?), I couldn’t find it. Can anyone enlighten me?

  Again, hope I’m not posting in the wrong place, but if there’s a more appropriate place, please tell me where. Thanks!

  Yes, that was all. I should’ve been a little more persistent and I would have figured it out. I appreciate your help. Looking forward to this blogging thing!
