Pages not accessible to visitors despite being set to 'public'
-
I’ve just tested my new site on other computers / browsers and and finding that visitors are being asked to log into wordpress to view them. I’ve just gone through and checked visibility in setting of each page and they are set to ‘public’. I don’t know what’s happening. TIA
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve just checked both of these using incognito tabs, and on my phone. They both show up properly on my devices. I’m definitely not logged in when I try.
Can you try it again and see? You might need to clear your browsers cache, it could be an old cached version of the website you’re seeing.

Yes, just tried it again. Including on my phone. Same result. Just goes to the wordpress log in page.

Just to confirm: we’re just talking about typing in https://melbvegansite.wordpress.com/ into the URL bar and pressing enter, and that’s when the WordPress login page appears?
I seem to be unable to replicate the issue on my side. I can view the site OK.
I also tried out using proxysite.com, this loads the site as if you had never visited or logged on to WordPress. I can also view it fine there. You can try it yourself using this link: https://us14.proxysite.com/process.php?d=0PHZYIUHtn%2FYd4qF6N3n9mc34Aot%2BKvFDdZNCPsNPKA%3D&b=1&f=norefer
Does it work for you?

Apologies. No. I didn’t explain it properly.
When you go to the home page, I’ve linked two pages to the site:https://wordpress.com/page/melbvegansite.wordpress.com/35
https://wordpress.com/page/melbvegansite.wordpress.com/48Visibility on both pages set to public (anyone can view), however when I click on them from the home page (eg. Phone). I get the log in page. I’ve double checked the settings on the two pages multiple times. I’m wondering if there’s a setting I missed.

Alright, I understand now!
Those links don’t work, you’re right. Those are the links if you want to edit the page, which only you can do. If I click on those, they just redirect me to my site after I log in.
You need to put the public link to the page on those links from the main site. You can find the public link to each page using the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/pages/#how-to-find-the-public-link-of-a-page
Get the public link, and then edit the links on the main page to go to the public links and you’ll be good to go!
Sorry for all the confusion!

That’s it! Working now. It wasn’t the page settings, I was using the wrong links! Thank you for your help.
I had a feeling it would be something small like that. :-).
Kind Regards.
