Pages not showing

  I’m new to WordPress but would assume it works like any normal site. Home page with navigation to get to other pages. I’ve created 4 pages and a home page. I linked the pages to the Home page. When I view the “Live Site” it says “nothing found”. If I create a post, then something appears but I’m still not able to access my home and child pages. How do I get my Home page to be my “Home” page (the first page when you come to the site) and how do I get my child pages to show in a navigation of some sort?

  It sounds like you want to have a custom home page, instead of the default lists of posts as well as links to your other pages.

  If that’s correct, you can do this by using a static page as your home page, and setting up your menu to show your other pages. See the documents below for all the details.
