Pages not showing on the website

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, I created a few pages to my new website. They all seem to have connected to the main menu on the top of my page as their titles are shown on the top of home page. However, the links (when I click on them) do not work at all. The URL of the page changes but with no change in the appearance. It is always stuck at the homepage (not even the current one). I don’t know where did that page come from and how to turn it off. HELP!

  • Hi there!

When I click the menu items change, as you mentioned. It means that the content repeats on all of them.

This is because you added that content to the Page template in Appearance > Editor. Page template is used by all of the pages.

I understand that the current homepage content is wrong so you can delete it from the Page template and add the Posts content block to display blocks from the Home page editor: https://d.pr/v/qwUjAS

Alternatively, you can add the homepage content to the Front page template that you can create like this: https://d.pr/v/6O75id

You can learn a bit more about the site Editor here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/

What are your goals for the site, I would be happy to help further?
