Pages on homepage and line breaks

    How do I adjust the page order on my home page for edin? The menu bar is perfect but the post above the footer are my concern. I’d like to switch out two pages. Also can edin have a line break in the text? I want to add in breaks for my schedule.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Can you be more specific about which pages you are wanting to switch.

    Can you

    lso can edin have a line break in the text?

    Do you mean an actual line across the page? Or a blank line?

    Of course. If you look at my homepage under the “front page” you’ll see, “welcome”, “who is Tara Jackson” and “Schedule”. I actually just want to remove “welcome” and put “private instruction” there instead.

    The line in referring to would just be a line across the page to divide the particular page. For example, I’d like to have the line separate the days of the week on my schedule page. So “Monday
    6:30 – Teaching
    _______________________
    Tuesday”

    Or should I just create this line myself?

    Thank you for replying so quickly.

    Hi there.

    I actually just want to remove “welcome” and put “private instruction” there instead.

    In general, you can find different options for customizing your theme by heading to the WordPress.com Customizer. To get there, firstly head to My Sites in WordPress.com, select the site you wish to change, and then choose the option to Customize In the left sidebar. Here’s a direct link to the WordPress.com Customizer for taraljackson.com:
    https://wordpress.com/customize/taraljackson.com

    I can see that you’ve already changed Front Page: Featured Page One under Theme Options to switch “Welcome” with “Private Instruction” there. :)

    The line in referring to would just be a line across the page to divide the particular page. For example, I’d like to have the line separate the days of the week on my schedule page.

    You’ll find an icon in the first row of your visual editor, which enables you to insert a horizontal line into your page. This icon’s numbered 7 in the screenshot on this page:

    With Edin, this line is very, very faint by default. If you’d like lines on your site to be a bit darker then you could use custom CSS to change the colour. CSS can be added via the CSS tab in the WordPress.com Customizer. The following custom CSS would make lines on your site a little darker by default:

    hr {
    background-color: #757575;
    }

    Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any extra questions surrounding that.
