Pages order

  I have input the order number in each of my pages but they still show up in alphabetical order – what am I doing wrong?

  The pages ordering stuff is more trouble than it is worth, especially now that we have the ability to create custom menus which allow us to order the pages however we want by simple drag and drop, and we can even add categories and custom links, and also organize our menus using dropdown submenus.

  Create a custom menu and you will have much more control over things.

  Setting order numbers will automatically change the page order in the top nav menu. The theme you’re using doesn’t have a top menu, and you’re talking about the list in the Pages widget. You need to go to Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar 1, open the Pages widget, select “Page order” from the “Sort by” pulldown, click Save.
