Pages showing twice on the same page in Tenku theme
-
I’m rebuilding my website in the Tenku theme. One odd problem is that links to pages display the pages twice. If you click my “about the author” link in the header, you’ll see that my bio appears twice, one copy above the other. I looked at the page code and see no problem there. Tried with other pages (as distinct from posts) and the same thing occurs. Is this a theme bug or a mistake of mine? Thanks.

Hi there,
I’ve checked the about page and it’s currently using the page template from your theme. It looks like there was an additional group block of content added to your page template so your content was shown twice on that specific template.
You may want to take a look at this guide on how to edit your page template. You can also look at this template guide to become familiar with how templates work on your site.
If this is your first time using a site editor theme, you may also want to look at our site editor webinar here! Additionally, our support site also has a comprehensive list of guides pertaining to the site editor.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions regarding what I shared. -
Thanks Minnie. I think I’ve gotten the problem sorted out by following your advice, although I still find the new WordPress block authoring much more difficult and counter-intuitive than “classical” editing. I worked for years with Dreamweaver and, more recently, with Divi templates, and I find both systems more approachable. Just stuck in my ways, I guess. But thanks for your help. The next time I do a theme change, I’ll probably make the leap to a Divi theme, which is more expensive but less aggravating. Cheers, Michael
