Pages – Upload JPEG file

  I am new to wordpress so forgive me if I am asking a silly question.

  I have set up a new page and named it. I am trying to upload a jpeg file to the page. It always appears on the home page, not the new page.

  Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?

  I can’t see what’s going on here because you haven’t provided the url for your blog. So I can’t see if you successfully created a page or not.
  Are you sure you actually used “write” and then “page” and not “write” and then “post”? Also did you use these instructions? http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/07/16/how-do-i-upload-pictures/
