Pages VS Posts – Newbie Question
-
Hello everyone,
I have 2 sites built to talk about smartphones using articles and the other to raise awareness of upcoming church events. Both I don’t want comments and I created a forum for both sites for comments/conversations.One site I am using posts for my articles. I put them into categories and on pages. To me this all seemed very confusing.
The second site I built I made pages rather than posts. This negated the need for categories and I was able to structure them through menus and links.
My questions are:
Is it okay to use Pages instead of Posts?
I am confused as to the benefits of using posts vs pages.I would appreciate any and all insights that you can provide.
Thank you for your time.

Hi there! Here is some basic information about posts versus pages.
Posts show in reverse chronological order and pages are static. It sounds like using posts for the articles is the right way to go. Pages would be for information that will remain the same such as times of church events and the location of the church. Does that make sense?
Here is some more information. I hope this helps!!
