pages will not re-order

    I am using the theme “Structure” I have been going to the page attributes and put in 2 because I want the “about” page second.. But nothing works
    I don’t want to hear that this theme doesn’t let me re order pages because the “contact” page was second to last and I changed it to last. I hope to get in contact with a wordpress rep ASAP who can fix the atrribute for me or me.

    I’m going to suggest instead of using the page attributes that you create a custom menu which will give you much more flexibility and far more options including having dropdown submenus if you want them.

    As thesacredpath suggested, it’s a lot easier to change the order of the menu tabs if you create and load a custom menu: then you rearrange by simple dragging (like you do for the widgets in your sidebar).

    But let’s clear the confusion with the page order numbers too. To order the tabs this way, you need to number all the pages, and then then they’ll show up in the right order (from smaller to larger number). Simply setting 2 to one page won’t place it in position 2: it will place it after all the unnumbered ones and after 1 (if you’ve set an 1).
