Pages within a password protected area

  Hi there!

  I would like to keep my general blog an open area where I post general interest posts, however, I would also like to have a full password protected area with pages that those with the password can access fully and navigate through – I guess a blog within a blog? Is there a way to do this? For example:
  Log in area
  Categories within that separate log in area
  Posts just for that blog area that is password protected for that private audience.

  I apologize if this is in the help section already, but when searching the categories and asking the question for the search tool – I was unable to locate it.

  If you can let me know how to do this as soon as possible, I would greatly appreciate it!

  Hi there!

  Sorry for the late reply! So, there is a way to do this, but there are some limitations that might not be ideal. You can make an page or post password protected, but it wouldn’t be possible to create one section that’s password protected. This would mean that every page/page would require a password.

  So you can create a categories page, but you would have to set every post in that category to password protected and it would have to be entered to go into every post.

  If you need more clarification about this, please let me know!
