    Hi there kpeders4

Having to fix these errors when starting a new site can be very annoying, I’ll show you how to do it.

I checked your page and the Navigation menu is working fine. The problem you have is that you accidentally created the “About Me” section in the header of the page. And as you know, the header repeats itself on every page.

To fix it, go to Appearance ->Editor in the dashboard.
When the editor opens, check if it says “Page” at the top. If it does, you are in the right place, if not, click it and select “Browse all templates”
    Then click on Page.

When the Page template opens, expand the tree view (Shift+Alt+O), select the Columns block in the Header section, and drag it to the middle of the Header and the Footer, so it doesn’t belong to either of them.

    Then save/update.

Let me know if you need further assistance with this.
    Cheers!

  • Hi there,

It appears you’ve edited the default template for pages on your site, adding your About content to the header of the template itself, meaning it will display on any page using that template, and removing the blocks that insert the actual page content into the template.

To fix this, go to Appearance ->Editor, and make sure at the top it says Page. If not, click on the template name, click Browse All Templates, and select the Page template.

Next, click on the template name, Page, and select the option to “Clear customizations”. This will restore the default blocks in the template which ensures that the page content will display.

Lastly, select the content for your About Me section and cut it. Update and exit the site editor. Then go to Pages ->Add New and create an About page. Paste your about content on that page, publish, and add that page to your menu as well, and you should be good to go.

Let us know if you run into any trouble with this process.
