  Buongiorno
  è possibile creare una pagina portfolio in un tasto all’interno del menu che appare sotto il titolo del sito? Ho provato a farlo ma le immagini in evidenza continuano ad apparire nella griglia della home.

  You are trying to use your homepage for something else? So that it does not have your portfolio displayed but instead the portfolio is on another page on your site, separate from your homepage?

  To do that change your Home page setting to “Modello predefinito” and that will allow the standard content to show intead of the featured images.

  It’s possible to add a menu item that is the portfolio archive – via customize > menus > add new.

  Are you looking to add portfolio categories to the menu?

  Hello there,

  Ok great!

  It sounds like you would need to create category types, which you can then add to the menu.

  When you assign a category to a type, these will only appear under that link: https://wordpress.com/it/support/portfolio/

  I don’t understand where I’m wrong. I’ve created a new page and assigned a project, why do I keep visualizing the project in the home grid and not in the page? Is it possible to have two different portfolios one in the home and the other in a drop-down menu button?

  A staff member addresses this by using portfolio shortcode:

  …you can create a new page, add the portfolio shortcode to that page, and specify using the shortcode that only projects from that type should be displayed on that page.

  Menus

  Portfolio Shortcode

  However, the portfolio page template will always show all portfolio projects published on your site. That’s what it’s designed to do, and cannot be changed.

  The methods above will allow you to show projects of a specific type on their own pages, but they’ll use the formatting for archive pages or for the shortcode, not the portfolio page template.
