Pagination In The Visual Editor
-
Hello, everyone.
I have a relatively small suggestion. Since I often write longform a lot, I try to paginate when I can. One minor gripe I have is that I have to switch to the HTML editor to do it. Since you can insert a <!–more–> tag through the visual editor, why not a <!–nextpage–>?
It’s a relatively small thing, but it would be super nice to have and since it would work in the same way the <!–more–> tab works, it could be easy to implement.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Though I already know what you point out and the support doc says Text editor
All you have to do is type:
<!–nextpage–>
into the Text editor where you would like your page breaks to appear.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/nextpage/I think Staff could add a link to “text editor” for clarity sake in the support doc. Tagged for their consideration.

@Timethief – added the link. :)
Dylan, there’s not currently a plan to add a toolbar button for the net page link, but I’ll add it to the suggestion list.
