Paid for Blog Upgrade

i paid for an upgrade and I did not know that i was not allowed to use a domain that i already own i.e. africanframes.com; that i can only point to the WP blog. I was offered africanframes.me as my new domain name.
Now, when i search for africanframes.wordpress.com, i get an Intuit Homestead message that they are hosting the site. Everything is a mess. Conclusion? With the upgrade, i’d like to use africanframes.me. Please help. Thank you.

You’re welcome to use a domain you already own, so if you want to use africanframes.com I can help you set that up. I see that africanframes.com is registered with Tucows Domains. To use it with your WordPress.com blog, you will need to log in to your domain manager at Tucows and change your domain’s name servers to these:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
You can contact your domain registrar, Tucows, for help with that. They also have a support page about how to change your name servers here: http://www.tucowsdomains.com/name-server-dns-changes/how-do-i-change-my-name-servers-dns/
Changing your name servers is all you need to do at this point to use africanframes.com with your WordPress.com blog. If, however, you’d rather register africanframes.me instead, just let me know and I can help you with that! :)

Hi there,
I removed your domain mapping for africanframes.com and reset your domain credit. You can now register a new domain by going to Store > Domains in your dashboard. We have additional instructions for that here: Register a New Domain
