Paid for popular plan but it still shows wordpress.com after my domain name

    Hi Team,

    I paid INR 1,920/- on 25th April towards the ‘Personal’ Plan on wordpress. However, I still see my domain has ‘wordpress’ in the end of the site. I would like to know what’s the issue here and how can it be resolved. Kindly respond at the earliest. Looking forwards to hearing from you.

    To resolve this issue, you need to update your domain nameservers to point to WordPress.com. Once you have done that, you will also need to set the domain as your primary domain.

    To update your domain nameservers, you’ll want to log into your domain provider (GoDaddy) and change your name servers there to the following:

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

    If you are unsure how to change these name servers, please contact GoDaddy for further assistance. Once you have updated the nameservers, you will need to wait for up to 72 hours for the changes to propagate.

    To set your domain as your primary domain, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress.com dashboard
    2. Click on “Domains” in the sidebar
    3. Select the domain you want to set as primary
    4. Click on “Make Primary”

    After following these steps, your domain will be set as your primary domain and the “wordpress” subdomain will be removed from your site’s URL.
