Paid for theme, went to wrong domain
-
I just bought the Adventure theme and it went to the wrong domain. I have two different email logins and managed to get them mixed up due to different tabs open. How can I transfer the theme from thatyellowshirtdotcom.wordpress (which I was planning to delete) to my actual website (www.myyellowshirt.com)?
Thanks!

You should be able to transfer the theme to another site from Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades > Transfer to another site option. Here is where it is: https://cloudup.com/ckvEyB-BA3p
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

You can click on https://thatyellowshirtdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades and then find the Transfer to another site link.

Thanks chaitanyamsv. I couldn’t find the ‘transfer to another site option’ when I went into My Upgrades. But when I went there it said ‘cancel and refund’ and as it’s within the 30 day period it will be refunded. Then I can just repurchase it for the correct domain. So all good in the end :)
Thanks for your help -
Ah, I incorrectly assumed both your blogs belonged to the same account. Seems they are not. Which is why there is no option to transfer to another site option.
And yes, you can always cancel and refund :)
Cheers.

There is no longer an option to initiate a premium-theme transfer in the dashboard, so refunding the theme and repurchasing it if you’re within the 30-day window is the best option, as you found. Beyond that timeframe, you may ask for staff assistance to transfer a theme to another site on the same user account.
