Paid Membership Site with Username/Email and Password

Hi there!
I’m a bit new at WordPress and this is probably very simple but please bear with me. I am trying to create a membership option on the website, which is paid one time and expires annually and allows users to log in to the site using a username and password that they create during payment so they can access members-only content. There are four different types of payment options based on whether you’re a student, an individual etc. I’m also trying to make it as user-friendly as possible so that the financial records are easily obtained. I have an upgraded WordPress site so I have access to all the free plugins but cannot spend any more on additional plugins that aren’t free. I have also set up Stripe as a payment gateway.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what plugins are best, how to set up the payment portal whilst also getting the member to create a username and password, and any other advice. I’m getting a bit flustered with everything so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
I’ve just been testing the Paid Memberships Pro plugin but now it says I’m logged out and I am stuck on the blue Coming Soon! page. It is now the front page of my website, it won’t let me log in (although I can still access the dashboard and my account profile) and I also can’t access privacy in settings to see if I could fix it from there.

Hi there, to clarify, you are having trouble accessing URLs like https://wp001127084.wpcomstaging.com/wp-admin/plugins.php but you have no issue accessing URLs like https://wordpress.com/home/wp001127084.wpcomstaging.com yes?
Do you have this issue if you try logging in to your WordPress.com account in a different browser? Thanks for the additional info!
