Paid memberships

What version of upgrade do I need to allow for a paid membership? This would include managing membership and subscriptions.
I would like to restrict access to the site with an age verfication. From there, I only want paid members to access areas other than the home page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s not available at WordPress.com. There is no such upgrade. You will need to purchase web hosting and set up a WordPress.org install for that.
