Paid on domain.com

You’ve reached WordPress.com support. Did you mean to contact Domain.com about a charge? Let us know your site address and what you are trying to do.

No no… domain.com offers a WordPress option to develop a website for the domain you’ve purchased. I paid for the WordPress plan that came out to around $45, but now, WordPress is still asking me for payment and not reflecting the paid plan. I’m unsure how to proceed from here

Ah, you don’t need both WordPress.com and Domain.com to host the site. Login on your site instead to edit it, not to WordPress.com. You have bought WordPress hosting, but this is a different company. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/The login page is something like example.com/wp-admin, substituting your own domain name instead.
You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums for any support on managing your site.
If you wanted to use WordPress.com to host, Domain.com hosting would not be needed. Here are the plans for WordPress.com. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!

Holy… haha okay awesome, thank you so much! That is quite confusing and domain.com does not help in the least, as they sure as heck don’t specify which wordpress it is that you’re paying for. I’ve tried a couple different website builders and this is the most user friendly (clearly I’m not the most tech savvy individual). I guess I’ll have to see about canceling and getting a refund from the other wordpress. Thanks again!

Any hosts outside of WordPress.com are using WordPress.org. If you end up coming to WordPress.com, feel free to ask any questions! If not, the WordPress.org forums are really helpful.
