    Hi, on the starter paid plan it says that there is an 8% transaction fee, does that mean if i connect my shopify account, wordpress are going to take 8% of my sales??

    Howdy!

    That transaction fee applies to specific things on this plan, such as Paid Newsletters, Payment Buttons, and more. Here is more on that.

    WordPress.com sites cannot directly connect to a Shopify store at this time. There are plugins that can help you with this, though. Since this method doesn’t require using WordPress.com’s payment services, a fee would not apply. To use a plugin, though, the hosting plan must be on the Entrepreneur or greater plan.

    If you don’t mind, what is the reason for not using Woo? You would only be charged a 2% transaction fee on the Entrepreneur Plan.
