Paid subscription twice

Hello,
I didn’t remember upgrading my card before the auto-pay was applied, so I did that and noticed the expiration date on the card on file showed that it was up-to-date.
So I paid my subscription twice, which I certainly didn’t want to do! Can you cancel that, please? Or is it better to dispute the one charge?

It looks like you canceled the plan and got refunded. Since the original automatic renewal was not refunded, I’ve restored the plan for you. With all said and done, your subscription is now valid for one more year, and your second payment was refunded. You can see the refund receipt at https://wordpress.com/me/billing
To turn on auto-renewal again, please click here and click “Add Payment Method” to add your card details.

I am curious about a pop-up on my plans page: “You have (amount) of pro-rated credits available from your current plan. Apply those credits towards an upgrade before they expire.” What does that mean?
It can sometimes be the case that a site owner will upgrade to one plan, then realize at some point that they might need features from a higher-level plan. The Premium plan comes with chat support and added design tools, for example.
In cases like that, rather than pay the full price for the more expensive plan (even though you have already paid us for the one you have) we instead “credit” that remaining value to the new plan.
Essentially you pay a discounted price, and we don’t charge you the full price. :)
