    2. Later, you upgraded from Starter to WordPress.com Explorer by paying another $48. The WordPress.com Explorer plan costs $96/yearly. As you already paid $48, you were charged the difference ($48) to upgrade again.

    So, you ended up paying a total of $96 for the WordPress.com Explorer plan, which is the correct price.
