  Good Afternoon, I am looking to add google adsense, text links, sponsored posts, and affiliate marketing ultimately to my website. I think the basic business for $8/month will be a good start I just wanted to make sure that would cover what I am looking to do with my blog.

  Yes you would need the business plan in order to run Adsense on a site with WordPress.com.

  One of the easiest ways to get this set up is through the Google Site Kit plugin: https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/
