Panel Theme: Guidelines for Featured Image size

  I really like the featured image feature in Panel theme, but I have issues with the consistency of the display.

  For example, sometimes they come out really nicely like this one:

  5 of the Funniest Comedies Based on Books

  Sometimes, they come out not looking very nice like this one:

  The Garden of Evening Mists

  Are there some guidelines I should be following for featured images while using this theme?

  It just says Featured Header Images are 1500 wide and 400 tall, cropped.

  Does that mean that I can only use images that are of this dimension?

  and I don’t know what this means: Featured Images on the front page are 300 pixels square, cropped. but the featured image does not come as a square, it is a rectangle…scratching my head a bit here

  Howdy!

  To clarify, images that are larger than 1500 pixels wide will work best in Panel.

  Those same featured images will be cropped to 300 pixels square if displayed on the home page in the featured content area.
