Panel Theme not allowing Feature display?

    I am trying to make the list of posts on this wordpress site to display like the one in the Panel example (https://paneldemo.wordpress.com/)

    So, when setting a feature image, you are supposed to get the thumbnail image and post title. However, I don’t get it. I get the full post even though I chose to show summary and not full post on my settings. How do I get this to display correctly?
