"Panel" Theme Suggestion: Add a logo option?

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on this forum so forgive my inexperience!
I’ve been running a webcomic, “Shenanigans: A Life”, for almost two years now at http://dustlander.com. I’ve always used the Panel theme for my website so as to post my comics more efficiently (see the theme’s description at https://wordpress.com/themes/panel/).
From the beginning I have noticed that while other themes have a logo capability in the Customize menu, Panel does not. I’ve been fine without a logo, but I still think it would be really nice to have one. The absence of a logo option also bothers me because it’s been added on nearly every other theme, but not Panel (the theme I really depend on using).
That’s basically it; my suggestion is for the Panel theme to support a logo. I’m not even sure if a theme can be updated in this way, but it would help me out a lot. Thanks!

Big changes to themes that we host in the WordPress.com theme repository aren’t generally made after they’re launched as the changes will impact everyone who has the theme active. It is, however, useful for us to know what features are in demand for future themes.
If it’s important for you to have a logo then you could consider a different theme. You can browse for themes that support a site logo here:

You’re right, however, that Panel is currently the only theme in our repository with the custom Comic post type.
If you don’t wish to switch, you could potentially add a logo via custom CSS. The ability to add custom CSS is an option included in the WordPress.com Premium and Business plans. If you do decide to upgrade the our volunteers and staff will be able to help with the specific CSS you need on our dedicated CSS forum:

It’s alright, I expected there to be an issue with updating the theme (when it’s already been launched). Mostly I was just wondering about it. If I end up really needing a logo at some point, I will probably consider the custom CSS option.
