Paragraph Font Size

Help, please. This is not a normal ‘how do I format paragraph text’ question. Nothing I have tried has worked for changing the font size of a paragraph. Yes, I’ve tried using CSS e.g. p {font-size:15px;} to no avail. I’m using the Escapade theme provided by GoDaddy and it’s missing some of the features of some of the better WP themes but a style sheet is a style sheet. Something is overriding my changes. Also, the font size on my pages is different than the font size in my posts. Here’s a link to the site so you can see what I’m talking about. http://bipolardimensions.com. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
