Paragraph Spacing
-
I cannot properly format the bottom of each of my pages. The spacing either becomes to large or everything gets bunched together. Please see this page. Thanks!

What I see on your site is HUGE fonts and I’m wondering why you changed them to that size as it makes your site so difficult to view.
I’m visually challenged and using PC running Windows 7 and Firefox 37.
Screen Resolution
1024 x 768
Browser Size
1024 x 641
I’m sorry but someone else will have to help you. -
I am changing all the text back to paragraph. I thought it would look better bigger but no. The issue is with the formatting on the bottom of the pages. I would appreciate if you can forward this to one of your colleagues.
Cheers
John

Heading tags are an important part of any HTML document and blogs are HTML documents. It’s important not to ever use H1-H6 tags to increase font Size. If you want to chnage font style, size and/or color throughout yout blog then please see the information at the links below.

I am not sure why you are giving me answers that I am not asking for. Could you please help me or refer my enquiry to another engineer please.
You are not answering my questions but merely sending me where I could not find the answer to begin with.

Hey there,
It appears as if the issue is arising because you’re adding social media buttons as images without any formatting at the bottom of your page. My suggestion is to use the three areas at the bottom of the page that your theme, Book Lite, has set aside for buttons such as these.
First, here is how you can add social media buttons to a widget:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-social-media-buttons-to-your-sidebar-or-footer/You don’t need to use the images that are shown on that page — you can use your own.
Next, you can add your social media buttons, and/or other images and widgets here:
https://experiencenewfoundland.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?Click Widgets. Then, you can add your buttons anywhere you’d like. The footer area is split into three areas.
Let me know if this works out for you, or if you get stuck anywhere along the way.
Thanks much.

Hi Robyn,
The icons/widgets look great but my concern is that they are at the end of the page, most people who visit our site will not scroll that far down, particularlt past the reply section.
Is there a way I can remove the reply section at the end of each page as well as the design stuff before and after the reply section?
Thanks
Matthew

Hey Matthew,
You can hide the Reply box, if you don’t want visitors to be able to comment directly on each page. Here are the instructions to do this on an already-published page:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-and-disable-comments-for-published-posts-and-pages/You can also disable comments on all future pages and posts, if you’d like:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/Unfortunately, the same code that would hide the scrolling design element from your site would also hide your buttons. So, that isn’t of much use to you. However, you can close down a bit of the space in that area. If you’d like to give this a try, go to your customizer by clicking the link below:
https://experiencenewfoundland.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?Then, click CSS in your menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:
article {
padding-bottom: 1em;
}Then Save your changes.
For more detailed instruction on how you can make CSS adjustments on your own, take a look at these two links:

Hi Robyn
I am completely confused :) I went into Settings > Discussion
and deselected Allow people to post comments on new articles but the leave a reply section is still at the footer. You mentioned a code that would hide the scrolling design element from my site would also hide my buttons. I am not sure what this is. Is this what will happen if I hide the reply section?

Hi Matthew!
I am completely confused :) I went into Settings > Discussion
and deselected Allow people to post comments on new articles but the leave a reply section is still at the footer. No problem! So, what you did was turn off the option for new posts and pages. However, you still need to individually turn off the comments for the pages that you’ve already published.
I made a little video to show you how to turn off comments on published pages. To start, I opened your contact page in the editor. Here you go:

You mentioned a code that would hide the scrolling design element from my site would also hide my buttons. I am not sure what this is. Is this what will happen if I hide the reply section?
You can hide the reply section without it impacting your buttons (Meet the Team, Brochures, Reviews). Sorry that I was confusing with that bit of information! It’s the code change that concerned me when it came to your button display, not the removal of your comments section.
Drop me a line if you have other questions. Thanks much!

Hi Robyn,
I see the problem but not the solution. When I go into each page to edit/ to remove the reply box, there is no discusssion section to deselect liek you did in the video.

Hey Matthew,
First, open up one of your pages in the editor, by clicking below:
https://experiencenewfoundland.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=866&action=edit
In the upper right hand area of your Page Editor, you should see this:
https://cloudup.com/iZUt0GE1DDx
Click on that Screen Options tab, then you’ll see this:
https://cloudup.com/iAKWMIHlC04
Make sure the discussion box is clicked. When it is clicked, you should see the Discussion module below the page content.
That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)

Hi Robyn
I go in and click discussion, save but no comment section below. When I retutn to the top and revisit the screen options, discussion is no longer clicked. For some reason the system is not allowing me to click it and stay.

Hi Matthew,
I go in and click discussion, save but no comment section below.
Don’t click save/update. Just click Discussion, then scroll down the page.
When you de-select Comments, THEN click save.
Try that and let me know if that works :)

It works! Thank you so much!! I am thick when it comes to this stuff…your help and patience was much appreciated.

No problem at all! That is what I’m here for :)
I am so glad that worked out.
Best of luck with the site!
