Paragraph spacing

I have never had issues with paragraph spacing, until today. I set up my post, preview it, and there are no extra lines (like I have set up). I have read a few forum posts, so I have already made sure in Visual mode that my post is set up for paragraph. My draft looks the way I want. Why am I loosing the extra lines when I preview? And if they are lost in the preview, will they be lost in the post once I publish?

I can see the paragraphs quite clearly with default lines after each. See this picture:

Also, do you make a habit of iserting paragraph html tags like this:

<p> Your para goes here </p>

I always do even if they are not necessary but then I like to work in Code/HTML View so that I know what I am doing.

    Good luck.

@bakerunlive, this can happen when the editor gets somehow into “div” mode rather than “paragraph” mode. Sometimes it just happens, but sometimes it is because of copying and pasting from the web or another program such as MS Word and the like.

Open the post in the editor, select all the content in the editor window, go to the “style/format” pulldown at the left end of the lower row of tools in the editor and select “paragraph.” Most times that will fix the issue, but sometimes the issues are deeper due to stuff that was brought in during copy/paste.
