Paragraph spacing changes when published
-
The paragraph spacing in my notes look perfectly fine while editing, but it changes when I publish them or see them in the “preview view” (the spacing disappears but only in some paragraphs). I already checked for a solution in your forum and read that it might be a code error, because i tried selecting everything and changing it to “paragraph” in the format pulldown, as one of the Happiness Engineer said. It didn’t work. Thanks for the help!

Did you paste your content in from Word or a word processor? That can add a variety of HTML tags that will distort the presentation of your site’s content.
Consider copying the post and pasting it into the Text Editor (not Visual) to ensure that all of the strange code goes away, or view the post in the Text Editor and remove any strange HTML tags, if you would recognize them. If you are using the new editor, switch to Classic to have easier access to the two editors.
Previewing the post or Page FIRST before publishing is always the most important thing to do. I call the Visual editor the WYSIWYMG editor, the What You See Is What You Might Get.
In the Visual Editor, one enter creates a paragraph. In the Text Editor, two enters makes a paragraph automatically in WordPress.
These should help.
