Paragraph tabbed indentations

    Is it possible to preserve the tab character from a Word Processing file, when copying and pasting to Word Press?

    I see the paragraph indentations immediately after pasting the text , but as soon as I switch over to Text view, and then back to HTML view, or save the Word Press document, the indentations disappear, and the paragraph is left justified.

    Surely, there must be a way to preserve the tabbed indentations, is there not.
    I’m using the Twenty Ten theme, which has been discontinued.
