Parallax Effect

Hello.
I would like to add a parallax effect to my homepage.
Here’s the plan:
A screen-wide image, as you scroll down it darkens, also the text goes up (optional).
Of course, it’s not only fixed to the scroller. I will have a scroll down arrow that will jump to the content below.I was wondering if there’s a plugin for that, or do I need to add a custom HTML code? I’m currently using Elementor btw.

That would be regarding a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

I accessed this page with the wish to learn and help. And I got this first message that made me confuse.

There is a very long time since when plugins, themes, and other kinds of stuff are allowed at WordPress.com.
Is there any problem trying to get help here to plugins and so on or I misunderstood the point itself!
Anyway, I do apologize if I said some foolish thing :-)

Simply, we can only support sites hosted at WordPress.com here in the WordPress.com Support Forums.
For sites hosted elsewhere using the WordPress.org software, there are the WordPress.org Support Forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
This is because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are actually two entirely different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
