Parallax Navigation System in all pages of my site

  Hello,

  I’m trying to build a website with a parallax-based free theme (https://wordpress.com/theme/pique/deluxalux.wordpress.com). But this theme, and all other parallax-based free themes that I have explored, only uses parallax on the home page.

  I would like to have the same navigation system in all the pages of my website:
  -a menu that is always visible on the top on every page
  -a menu where each item takes you to a panel within that page
  -all pages build with panels
  -a dynamic menu so that when scrolling up and down the panels the panel name is highlighted on the menu.

  Exactly the behavior on the front page of the theme I chose but available for all pages.

  How can I do this. Thank you in advance.

  Hi Gon,

  All themes with a parallax effect in the WordPress.com repository are designed to be “one page” themes, which is why the effect is limited to the front page on them. There aren’t any themes with the navigation system you’ve described but some of the “one page” themes, such as Lodestar, do have large header with the effect on individual pages.

  You can filter for all WordPress.com themes with the parallax effect via the “one page” filter in our repository:

  https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/one-page

  Do you perhaps have an example of a site that looks similar to what you’re trying to set up? I could try to find the closest theme in our repository to its design.

  If you require more custom functionality then you could consider looking outside of the WordPress.com repository for a third-party theme. There are two options for using a third-party theme:

  1. You can upgrade to WordPress.com Business. It’s possible to upload third-party themes under our Business plan:

  https://wordpress.com/plans/deluxalux.wordpress.com

  2. You could move your site to a different host, such as Pressable, and install the free software available at WordPress.org. It’d then be possible for you to access your theme’s code and install third-party themes.
