Parament Menu
-
Hi I’m trying to fiddle with the menu bar with the CSS for the Parament theme (I’m very new at this).
The menu bar is far wider than necessary for my 5 or 6 pages, so I was wondering if there is a way to space out my pages (Home/Service/Contact/Etc) so as that they are centered, or if I can shorten the bar itself around the menu items and then center the new, shorter menu bar (I’d prefer this. I have figured out how to shorten the width of the bar but not how to center it).
Thank you for reading my question.

The site is…

It was private up until a minute ago (as I don’t own the images on there, using random photos for the first review till our own come in) but I’ve removed the password for the time being.

Your site is private, so I can’t look at it to see what else you may have done so I have no idea if this will work. This was based on the standard non-customized demo site for your theme.
This will (probably, maybe, should) center the tabs on the menu.
#menu { text-align: center; } #menu ul { display: inline-block; }As far as narrowing the width of the menu bar itself, this can become somewhat of an issue since you cannot control how someone has set up their browser preferences for fonts, and if they run their browser zoom level at something other than standard. If you get it too narrow and someone had their preferences or zoom level set different from standard, your menu may blow up in their browser. When it blows up, it goes back to the original design and goes to two lines. Sometimes that happens somewhat gracefully and sometimes there is a huge crater.

You are welcome.
If you add anymore items to your menu, you will need to adjust that 25% left margin.
