Pardot Form Plugin – Getting 403 error

  • Unknown's avatar

I have been successfully using the Pardot form plugin for my wordpress site, but when I attempted to insert a form today I got an error message:

    Error 403 – Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access the requested resource. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.

IT have checked the back end for permission errors. We have reset passwords, cleared the cache, reinserted the API code. Basically everything we can think of! Only thing we haven’t done yet is uninstall the plugin and reinstall, as I wasn’t sure how that affects the current forms on the site.

Anyone able to provide any help on what the issue may be?

I have also submitted a ticket to Pardot about this.

    Much appreciated!

    Thanks

    Shaun

    Hi there,

There are two different versions of WordPress.

These forums only provide support for the WordPress.com version; your site appears to use the self-hosted version from WordPress.org.

If you need general support for a self-hosted site, please try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.

If you’re getting a 403 error, you should try contacting your host too.

To learn about the differences between the two versions of WordPress (.com vs.org), please see this guide.

    Good luck!
