Parent and Child Links Broken?

I have the “About the Aardvark” page set up as a parent menu page.
I set up two children for it “The Aardvark Story” and “On Procuring Good Words.”

These were initially behaving perfectly as drop-downs as they should.

On the parent page, I set up links so you could click to the other pages directly from that text.
Now, the two children aren’t showing up as drop-downs in that section, even though I double-checked their settings and both have the “about” section marked as their parent and are ordered properly (1 and 2).

    Did I break something?

Did you by chance change themes? Not all themes support submenus natively.

My suggestion is to create a custom menu where you can have far more flexibility in how things are arranged and have far more options on what to include and how things are arranged.

Nope, same theme all through, and it was working perfectly earlier today.

And affirmative on custom menu as well–the link you provided is what I found earlier to create it in the first place. At some point those children just stopped showing up as drop-downs and I can’t figure out what changed.

Aha! (Never mind, I found it. It was indeed a menu thing.)

    Thanks (again)!

I am using Firefox 9 and I can see two dropdowns from About the aardvark:
    The Aardvark Story
    On Procuring Good Words
